“It would be terrible!” many people respond. The annual National College Entrance Examination translated, commonly known asGaokao, falls between June 7th and 8th in China. Thousands of people have benefited from the policy, which has changed or will change candidates’ lives. If gaokao were canceled, youngsters would have no access to their ideals, just as the ladder of moving upward is laid off. The society would be reduced to the situation where people of poor rank are in despair, fighting in vain for better living.
